Hectic family holiday

Liked:We were informed of faulty lift only when we were on our way to the apartment. We ended up carrying 7 suitcases through the stairway to the 8th floor. We also had to carry packs of bottle water up the stairs, and walk downstairs most times to pick up delivery. Although we were informed that there was scaffolding on the building, we didn't reckon that we would be woken up at 8am every morning with heavy drilling and hammering, particularly around the children's rooms.

Disliked:Climbing the stairs 5 days out of the 7 days we spent in the apartment. The noisy very mornings. The slow responses.

Very Cold Apartment

Liked:The property is modern.

Disliked:We booked our stay over the Christmas week. We live in the UK but wanted a level floor apartment to accommodate a family member who would struggle with our stairs at home. Check in was from 3pm. We arrived at 4.30pm and the cleaners were still in the middle of cleaning. The apartment heat level is controlled by the owner and the handyman. This meant we were not able to turn it up to the level we required and constantly requested throughout our stay. We even contacted Booking.com customer service for help. They could not force the owner to turn up the heating. Instead the heating was increased slightly with the owner commenting to the managing agents that the level he chose should be sufficient. This meant we spent Christmas in a very cold apartment so were deeply uncomfortable. The rates charged should mean the expectation of a warm apartment is a reasonable one. If staying in winter and you would like a warm environment, this is not the apartment. We won’t be booking this apartment again.
