Terrible

Disliked:Our room had no windows even though we’d paid for a larger room. When I asked to change I was told I’d have to pay to upgrade as the hotel was full. There were still rooms show as available on booking.com though. I then asked to Informed when the upgrade room would be ready as it was still early and when I went back to reception an hour later (the time I was told it would take to make it ready) the same member of staff told me it had been booked with even checking the computer system.

Liked:Hotel is extremely well located, near town centre and train station. Great concept and very welcoming staff. Restaurant is lovely and I love the vegetarian offering. From my previous experience rooms are nice and clean.

Disliked:This is my second time staying at the hotel. My first time was fantastic hence I wanted to go back with my husband but they placed us in an exceptionally small room which made our stay not very comfortable. The room I was staying in previously for 1 guest was much larger then this room which is meant for 2 guest. We struggle to even open my suitcase inside. The reception did offer us a room change but it meant we had to check out at 11:00am and then wait for check in again at 3:00pm which was difficult for me as I just got off an early flight and I needed to sleep so we decided to just stay in our room. Hopefully next time we will be allocated a more suitable room from the beginning of our stay.
