Liked:Location was good. Close to Liverpool Street Station

Disliked:Air conditioning was supplied in the room but didnt work -a noisy fan was supplied. Toilet seat didnt fit resulting in splash back unless you were extremely careful. I have photos! They refused to fix it. Shower was broken. Would only provide scalding water. Did eventually send plumber to fix, who said the shower was breaking legislation and should be thermostatically controlled when installed in apartments. No toaster, after it was in the description. After complaint, did supply. Bed was so old that the mattress was like being on a waterbed. Very bad for your back. Room was extremely noisy until well after midnight due to proximity to bars. Other floors were full of building materials down the corridors and bags of rubbish. A concerning health and safety breach. Have a video from which I have clipped 2 photos. Very run down, not worth the money. Care, it does say on upper floors you have to take your bags up stairs, but it is not clear. We had to carry bags up stairs and were on the first floor! Remote control for the TV had no back and so batteries had to be clamped in with your hand in order for it to work. Beware, they are not registered for VAT and it is not mentioned on the website. If you stay for work purposes, your company may object. Should not be hosted on Booking.com site.

Liked:The location

Disliked:Nobody on reception we had to wait outside to.chekc in despite fillowing all.instructions. The place .was not very clean, furniture was old and toilet handle was broken. Weird noise eveytime we used water from the boiler no door on the bathroom utility. Air conditioning didnt work in 4 rooms but fans left out and funny smell in the kitchen. Fridge needed a clean and defrost. Absent on reception each time we passed.

Does the job

Liked:The location was great for me and the staff were incredibly friendly.

Disliked:The general amenities were quite noticeably used and felt as though on one hand you are offered a lot of amenities but the wear of the items and cleanliness of some of them make me feel a little uncomfortable. I will clarify there were no concerns over the linen or bathroom but consequently I didn’t use anything in the kitchen. Fine for solo traveler but wouldn’t take my partner to stay with me.
