Liked:We would like to thank all the staff of Cocoon Maldives for their warm welcome and excellent service. In particular, Butler Riyaz demonstrated a high level of professionalism and outstanding quality of care. All our requests were handled promptly, accurately, and with great attention to detail. His calm manner of communication, sense of responsibility, and readiness to assist at any moment made our stay exceptionally comfortable.

Disliked:We didn’t like that there were a lot of mosquitoes — they were biting both day and night. The staff explained that this is normal during the rainy season, while in the dry season there are almost none. The team tried to fight the mosquitoes with smoke and sprays, but unfortunately it didn’t help much.

Liked:We had a wonderful stay at Cocoon Maldives and would happily return in the future. What truly made our experience super special and outstanding was the service from all the staff. We could name all here but we will summarize with some of them which we had a close support. A heartfelt thanks to our Host Riyaz, you will be lucky if you have him as your host. And if you see him, be ready for good surprises! Riyaz gave us much more than we expected, also being always supportive and pro-active on all our needs. He was always ready to reply providing quick feedbacks. Our Villa cleaner, Hamex, always leaving our room like New and super clean…The Restaurant Receptionists Dian and Saya, always kind and smilling, finding a good place to seat…and special thanks also to the Restaurant Manager Ahu who prompt provide all the special requirements and a great organization for the Birthday dinner, and of course a great food variety. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We would also like to mention Amila, who always prepared excellent Eggs Benedict with a smile, and Waseen, who made the best caipirinhas and was exceptionally attentive throughout our stay. About the villa: The villa was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with an excellent bed and thoughtful details such as a clothesline in the bathroom, which was extremely useful for drying wet swimsuits. The pool is relatively small, but it was always clean and enjoyable. The cocktails served were also in very good quality. For families, the kids’ club offers fun and engaging activities, particularly for children between 5 and 9 years old. In order to provide even more greatful moments, as for areas for improvement, we would have appreciated more simple protein options for children, as many meat dishes were served with sauces. From another side, plain pasta, white rice, and chicken nuggets were always available when requested.

Important Information

The property can be reached by seaplane transfers. Shared Seaplane Transfers: Until December 23, 2026 the charges are as follows: - Adult (16 years and above): USD 435 per Adult Child (02 – 15 Year): USD260 per Child From December 24, 2026 the charges are as follows: Adult (16 years and above): USD 465 per Adult Child (02 – 15 Year): USD280 per Child This rate is not included in the booking price and will be charged additionally. The resort is accessible by a 30-minute seaplane ride from Velana International Airport. A shared seaplane transfer is arranged for all our guests according to their international flight schedule (arrival/departure time) Due to the aviation laws for operating seaplanes, every tourist arriving on international flights in the Maldives before 15:30 shall be transferred to the hotel via a seaplane on the same day of arrival. Clients arriving with flights landing after 15:30 may stay in a hotel closer to the airport, and we shall arrange the seaplane transfer the following day. In order to organise a seamless transfer arrangement process and to avoid an unfortunate circumstance, the resort requests that you provide the international flight details at least 7 days prior to the arrival date. Private seaplane option is available upon request. Compulsory Supplements: Christmas Eve Dinner: USD 450 per adult and USD 225 per child for stays passing over December 24, 2026.
