Great position for Les Baux - but check room sizes!

Liked:Its location so near to the village of Les Baux - just a 15 mins walk away. A rustic old converted farm into a quaint family-run hotel.

Disliked:Although the receptionist who met us on arrival offered to take our bags upstairs to our room - the interaction we had thereafter with the female owner was disappointing. At no time did she want to engage in conversation with us and on departure had no questions about whether we enjoyed our time at the hotel or where we were travelling onto! Breakfast ran from 0800- 10.30 and we were at our table at 0905 to be told by a surly waitress that there was no more scrambled egg to be had! Sorry - but for the price we paid for our room - this was not a good enough answer and we won’t be staying there again. Also our room which was a superior double - was very small for the price paid - and although we asked for a walk-in shower as both of us have replacement knees - we had a shower in the bath which was challenging! A real pity as I really liked the hotel description on your platform. Needs an update I feel!
