Liked:The rooms were truly charming, the bed was supremely comfortable and the room was spotless. Easy walking distance to restaurants and shops.

Disliked:Small coffee machine in room would have been welcome.

Pleasant, quaint, charming.

Liked:Location was fine. However, the marketing info seems sketchy. The references to "the Constance", "the Whitlock" and "the Dewey" were totally confusing. We weren't sure WHERE we were supposed to be. Turns out it was simply Room 208 at the Hideaway. Searches on phones for The Hideaway Inn consistently took us to varied inns around New England, but failed to find your property. Very confusing to a tourist unfamiliar with the area. Regarding breakfast, we missed it because we didn't know where to find it. The Hideaway Inn was overall a pleasant place to stay, very charming and quaint. Probably better for someone under 65 with better knees than mine.

For one night everything is fine but just felt a little heartless

Liked:Facilities and location were really good

Disliked:Check-in was difficult as there are no humans. Rooms are good but if you are looking for a human touch and local interaction and engagement then this is not for you. Just no heart and soul in the place.
