The location itself is beautiful and pristine but the amenities could use some upgrading.

Liked:The location was great, except there aren’t a lot of walkable options to get food/needs (that’s not the resort’s fault, but you definitely need a vehicle if you don’t arrive equipped with everything you may need). The room was amazing. As soon as we walked in we wished we had booked a longer stay. The size and the style and the cleanliness of our room was really incredible. The jacuzzi and outdoor space was an unexpected but very appreciated bonus. The proximity to the beach and the beach itself was wonderful-very pristine and peaceful beach. The staff at reception (who was pretty much the only staff we interacted with) was very friendly and welcoming and accommodating. I had a few conversations via WhatsApp with staff and they were helpful and responsive in a timely manner.

Disliked:During our stay there was no power for about 6 hrs on the day we were checking out. It was obviously inconvenient because we couldn’t shower or flush toilets and had no electricity before leaving. We were in a verge large group occupying several rooms and many people were not able to turn their stoves on, which left them scrambling for matches. Several appliances in several rooms were not working. In our room it was the dishwasher, in my parents’ room it was the coffeemaker, in my cousin’s room it was the outdoor grill, etc etc. This wasn’t a big deal for us because we were only staying 3 days, but I feel like people go there to stay for more time and then these issues might have had more of a negative effect. We ordered breakfast one morning and I was very specific that we had an excursion and it had to be there by a certain time or we wouldn’t be able to have it and it hadn’t shown up by the time we left. When I messaged to tell them to cancel it they said it was too late and it would be delivered to someone else in our group. We did end up getting charged for it but the front desk got rid of the charge once I explained what happened. Others in our group had also ordered breakfast and across the board about 80% said it was delivered way later than the specified time.

Great staff not so great accommodations

Liked:The staff was very professional and friendly. They were very responsive. The apartments were nice, liked the lay out.

Disliked:The apartment felt dirty. They didn't do a good job of cleaning it before we got in. Everything in the apartment felt outdated and very used. The microwave wasn't working and we couldn't shut off the A/C. Our bedroom got very cold at night.
