Perfect stay opposite Kyoto station

Liked:Excellent supportive staff. So helpful and involved in making your trip as comfortable as possible. The staff helped me plan a surprise proposal by storing a ring with them till I could retrieve it. Smooth check in and out process. Hotel room is big, well furnished and kept clean by the staff. Comfortable beds and pillows. Not those that sink in but ones with proper structure to support your head.

Disliked:A very minor issue. In our twin room, the international plug next to the sofa did not work properly and we couldn't charge our brush or use our EU devices despite the native connection available.

Wonderful reception staff, great location, and clean and spacious rooms make for a great stay.

Liked:Great location across the street from Kyoto Station and next to Aeon Mall. All of the staff working in the lobby are exceptional - welcoming and always ready and willing to assist with check in/out, luggage delivery or storage. We stayed in the Twin Room on the Premium Floor and rooms were spacious and nicely updated. This was at the least the 4th time our family has stayed at the Miyako Hachijo. Will definitely come back again.

Disliked:The lobby don't proper sofa for guests seating only rounded couch all around. This is not quite proper for 4 star hotel lobby.
