Fabulous

Liked:Loved our room, great size and had everything we needed. Very comfortable bed and lovely bathroom with both a shower and bathtub. We used the gym and Onsen facilities daily. Gym is small (1 treadmill, 2 bikes and weights) but was perfect for our time there. The Onsen was amazing, never crowded and we enjoyed using the products in the bathroom and shower areas. Having coin laundry in the building was also super convenient 👌. Location was also fantastic, lovely shops on the same street and lots of restaurants withing walking distance! A few others commented on the sound proofing in the rooms. And yes, we experienced that sound travels between rooms a bit but it didnt affect our stay. We slept soundly and people were quiet.

Disliked:Nothing. A note about the breakfast: we didnt have it included but paid 1 day, it was totally overpriced in my opinion. I wouldnt retrunt there for breakfast.

Exceptional staff, breakfast and rooms were spacious

Liked:The staff were incredible and went above and beyond. The breakfast buffet was so lovely every morning. The onsen was a really nice experience and it was very quiet. The ambiance and decor was so nice.

Disliked:Nothing, everything was exceptional

Great for exploring Kyoto!

Liked:Extended our original stay by 1 night at this hotel due to plans changing. Hotel made it an easy decision as we loved our first 5 nights. Great location, comfortable rooms and great facilities (gym, onsen, laundry).

Disliked:Nothing. Would not recommend breakfast if not included in your booking, its totally overpriced.
