Sleek and modern hotel offering everything you need.

Liked:I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. It caters very well to Westerners but still had a bit of a Japanese influence with the decor. The room was clean, comfortable and very modern. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. I was particularly impressed with the restaurant because the presentation of food, service from staff and overall vibe was much more sophisticated than expected. Overall I really enjoyed this hotel and was very impressed with my experience for the price. At the end of long days walking and sightseeing I found myself looking forward to retreating to this hotel for some comfort. If I ever return to Kyoto I will be staying here.
Disliked:The only thing I can think of that would have made my stay better is if there was some cows milk to accompany the teas and coffees in the room.

Worthy of being rated 5-Star with exceptional quality, service and great location.

Liked:Felt more like a 5-Star hotel and luxurious. The decor and fit-out of the hotel interior were excellent. The rooms were spacious and the bathroom and toilet were of a high standard. The breakfast buffet was OUTSTANDING. We had dinner in the hotel on multiple occasions and found the quality very good. Staff were truly EXCEPTIONAL and went out of their way to help make out stay a memorable experience. Location was a very convenient short walk to the Kyoto train station.
Disliked:Could consider catering for guests with special dietary requirements such as offering oat or almond milk in addition to just soy milk. Low fat milk too would be great.
