Wonderful traditional hotel in a great location with friendly staff and delicious traditional food.

Liked:Great location in Kyoto. Beautiful rooms with very comfortable beds and a large private bath with a huge bathtub. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The traditional Japanese breakfast was delicious.

Disliked:Nothing.

Excellent stay, perfect location, gorgeous rooms

Liked:The location couldn't be better, right in the heart of Gion and easy waking distance to many things. The rooms were gorgeous traditional yet modern, and bed linen very luxurious. Being only 17 rooms, the service was so personalised. Breakfast was good.
