Recommended for anyone who wants to stay near restaurants and shops

Liked:The breakfast was surprisingly good, with fresh ingredients and a variety of options (Japanese and Western). Staff are very friendly. The room is spacious with black-out curtain. Nearest bus stop is within 1 minute walk.

Disliked:The location is superb, which means it's super busy right outside the hotel. Convenient but can be a bit overwhelming. (Of course this is no fault of the hotel!)

Liked:People, place, food and amenities locally. Japan is a fun and vibrant place, I enjoyed Kyoto very much, easy to train to Osaka and the tranquil nature of the Kyoto city is alluring
