Quiet great location

Liked:Hotel IL Verdo was a lovely place to stay the rooms were quite large for a Japanese Hotel the staff were friendly the beds were really comfortable. Location was an easy 15 minute walk from Kyoto Station & it was very quiet so a bonus. The Shoisen en Gardens are right across the road from the Hotel a must to see. A quick walk you will find some gorgeous little Japanese shops & the Buddhist Temple which had handmade markets out the front. We really enjoyed out stay & dont forget the free 1 hour of drinks!!!!

Disliked:not many restaurants near by the Hotel but keep walking head to the Tower & you will find the amazing food court

Liked:We booked the room for 4 people because we wanted a larger space. It was comfortable and clean. It is not so close to the city center, but we took buses (10min ride) and also walked once (about 30min). I liked this hotel and recommend it if you want to be in a quieter part of the city. Thanks!

Good hotel with a decent price

Liked:Professional hotel within walking distance from the Kyoto station. Staff is fluent in English and check-in/out processes worked great. We also enjoyed the Happy Hour service that was included in price. The room itself was pretty normal hotel room, but the shower and toilet area was very spacious in Japanese standards.

Disliked:Only 2 laundry machines that also did drying instead of separate dryers, so we had to wait to do our laundry.
