Exceptional design, spacious rooms, and outstanding service!

Liked:Everything about our stay was incredible. The property features a modern yet intuitively cozy design with very spacious rooms and large, luxurious bathrooms. The highlight of our location was the direct view of the spectacular Gion Festival procession right from our window to the street! Above all, the service was exceptionally outstanding. After an unexpected situation with the kids in the middle of the night, the staff reacted immediately with kindness and professionalism. They provided a complete change of linens, duvets, and even the mattress in the dead of night without hesitation. We are incredibly grateful to this fantastic, family-friendly team!

Disliked:Absolutely nothing – everything was perfect.

Kyoto at ease

Liked:I recommend Ace Hotel Kyoto for its great location and comfortable, spacious rooms. The metro, along with shops, restaurants, and sights, is right outside the hotel. The front desk staff are friendly and easygoing.

Liked:The property was centrally located with a modern vibe. There were regular and electric bikes on property for use for free and that made getting around the city a ton of fun. The restaurants in the hotel were also convenient and amazing. When we arrived, my husband was motion sick from the bullet train and the staff did everything they could to get us into a room and comfortable.

Disliked:This was our favorite property of the trip. Loved it all.

Ace is an Ace! 10/10!!!

Liked:Ace hotel accommodations are excellent and location is central to local walkable streets. The accessibility to restaurants, shops, malls, entertainment and attractions is convenient on foot. Nishiki and Teramachi markets are just a few blocks away. Daimaru & Takashiyama are also walkable and just past the markets. Taxi services to & from the hotel are available and distance is very reasonable to Gion, Fushimi-Inari, and Arashiyama. The lobby has plenty of seating to work on the computer or just to have coffee or tea. Hotel rooms and showers were cozy, clean & comfortable. Workout facilities were top notch and clean. The inside courtyard is an organic natural space with beautiful greenery and a mix of different shops to visit. Hotel restaurants were outstanding and recommend the soft & delicious French Toast! The hotel staff are warm and very helpful if you have questions. A little Japanese goes a long way to break the ice and the effort is appreciated. Overall experience was great and pleasant. Highly recommend 10/10.
