The beach photos used by Holiday Inn Resort Kuta are completely misleading. The water is not blue at all — it’s black, polluted, and full of rubbish. There are signs stating swim at your own risk.The path from the resort to the beach is also covered in rubbish, making the walk unpleasant and nothing like what is advertised.
The dinner that is included in the all inclusive is entree size. The menu never changes.
We had dinner there and three of the 4 meals came out out and we had finished our dinner and the fourth meal still hadn't come out. When it did come out because they had to rush it the chicken wasn't cooked properly. Great restaurant. Don't eat at the Palms
Do they think this is 5 star. I would rather eat Maccas.
This is absolutely not a five‑star resort. If you’re considering the “all‑inclusive” package, double‑check every detail because it is definitely not truly all‑inclusive. The resort is in the middle of nowhere, and you’ll need to rely on taxis just to get anywhere worthwhile. You’re far better off booking a resort closer to Kuta central where you can actually enjoy the area without constant transport hassles.
Overall, extremely disappointing and not worth the money.
There are plenty of better accommodation around Kuta
