Overall, it’s good value for the money if you don’t need reliable internet.

Liked:What I liked about the hotel was the beautiful lobby and the friendly staff, who spoke English well. It’s also very convenient if you’re arriving by ferry, as the port is just a short walk away.

Disliked:What I didn’t like was, first and foremost, the incredibly slow internet. I walked around the entire hotel, and the Wi-Fi speed throughout the property ranged from just 1 to 5 Mbps, which is laughable considering they advertised high-speed internet as being included in the price. That simply wasn’t true. They also require a 100 MYR deposit for the room key, which I found rather odd. You do get it back at checkout, but I still didn’t like having to pay it.

Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. The name on the credit card used for the booking should correspond to the guest staying at the property. Beginning 1 January 2025, as directed by the Langkawi Municipal Council, a local government Heritage Fee of RM3 will be applicable per room per night. Meanwhile for Prestigious Events, a fee of RM6 per night per night will apply during Langkawi International Maritime & Aerospace (LIMA), Le Tour De Langkawi, Ironman, and Oceanman Malaysia.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance.
