It was an ideal place to stay for one overnight. Very comfortable.

Liked:Comfortable for the 3 of us. We only needed a place to sleep for one overnight stay.

dirty. not worth the money.

Liked:the apartment was big and spacious. location was perfect for what we needed. free parking.

I don’t like leaving negative reviews but this property deserves it. it’s been almost a month after I have checked out and the owner still has not replied to the message I sent them which clearly shows that what they said in their message before I checked out was bs. the apartment was dirty! it was not cleaned properly and some places seemed like they hadn’t been cleaned at all. this is quite a big apartment and having a SINGLE heater is just not cutting it. even though it was June, it was cold since it was a basement unit. a single heater for three rooms obviously doesn’t work. the dishwasher was not emptied and since we are a family that doesn’t use that sort of stuff, we never bother to check it. during our stay we did, and thankfully we did. we thought there was not enough cutlery and pans. turns out they were left in the dishwasher… which clearly shows that the cleaners did not even bother to open it to see if anything is in there, not to mention, they obviously hadn’t cleaned the cooker since you could obviously tell a pan is missing if they did. I did let the owner know about these issues after I checked out and offered to send them pictures since I was not able to do it on here. it’s been almost a month and I have gotten no answer. clearly shows that the owners know about how bad this apartment is, and they are just trying to make the guests not write bad reviews. I only booked this property because the reviews were good. I highly doubt EVERYONE had a good experience except me. the apartment was DIRTY. there is actually no way only one person before me, who stayed there, made it this messy. under the couch pillows was not cleaned in AGES. that was not just a few days worth of nasty junk. absolutely disgraceful. would never book again

It was ok

Liked:The shower was not so bad and there was good closet space. The microwave and dishwasher worked as it should. Counter tops were nice and the bar set up was comfortable. The location was great. Also the Host was very kind and understanding when we told her about the issues we faced with the Air BNB.

Disliked:We rented for two weeks and needed an extra day so we booked for a day on booking.com. So this review will show for one day but really it's for the couple of weeks we stayed at the airbnb. When we first arrived the cleanliness was subpar. The majority of surface spaces had to be cleaned because it was visible to see a film of dirt. The baseboards were filthy. The couches and kitchen chairs looked worn out with visible stains. The place looks like it needed to be repainted and some drywall repair. When we opened the fridge we found onions left in one of the drawers which we ended up having to clean. The fridge was filthy where the drawers were. We just cleaned one drawer with the onions and used that only. We left for a week due to a family matter when we came back and was going to use the stove we opened and inside the oven we saw a pot with what looked like the previous guests food in it rotten. We contacted the host immediately. She told us we should have told her about the filthy apartment from the start instead of half of our stay which is fair cause they would have sent someone right away to clean the house. The washer and dryer are shared amongst all units which we prefer to have in the unit. It's in the basement and has a dark and gloomy feel. There was also a strong odour of Marijuana coming from the other apartment through the vents. Parking was a bit of an issue when we arrived with no parking available due to contractors vehicles that took up two spots and the rest were taken by the other guests. We did speak to the host about the issue and after we were able to get a parking spot for the rest of the stay.
