Wonderful hotel in Interlaken

Liked:Good location 800 metres from Interlaken Ost towards Interlaken West - hint; walk to end of train platform as there is a street level exit. We had room 102 which was a corner room facing the street and park and facilities and layout excellent with large spacious bathroom. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Early check in and free unreplenished initial mini-bar appreciated. Bed was very firm and comfortable - two singles pushed together but snug. Two individual donnas but still highly suited for romantic couple. Excellent breakfast with wide choices and even a glass of sparkling to start the day if you want. View of Park where paragliders land was a bonus. Convenient access to shops in Interlaken west - about 400 metres.

Disliked:No air-conditioning but try finding a room that does have air-conditioning anywhere in Interlaken. Only a problem in hotter months but two fans provided. Result of global warming and had to retrofit so a minor criticism. If a concern, then avoid July and August.

Clean Well located Hotel

Liked:The location was great, convenient for shopping, walking, restaurants. It has been very hot during this July 2026 and we opted to upgrade to an air-conditioned room. Good bathroom.
