Functional and friendly.

Liked:Friendly staff and lovely breakfast. Easy walk to city centre and all the sights. We were able to safely leave our luggage on departure day and collect on way to the train station.

Disliked:A bit dated and the shower definitely needed a bit of attention (head held onto rod with tie wraps) but everything worked. Would have been nice to have a fan due to the heat.

Liked:Great location, like 20 minutes from all the action. Beds were comfy, tv worked, the system flowed. Had no difficulty staying, just didn’t cry when I left.

Disliked:A bit grimy, especially in the bathroom. The beds had a few stains, the hallways smelled of cigarettes, the wallpaper was a bit faded. All just aesthetic, though. For the money, however, I’ll be stuck up and say I’d have liked a bit more.

Comfy, cosy and a delight to stay in

Liked:Comfortable and clean rooms, cute small bathroom with large shower. Building is stunning and in a great location with short walks to attractions around. Old school vibes but super comfortable and charming. Staff were lovely to chat to and always helpful, luggage storage and breakfast supplied.
