Would stay again

Liked:Read to the end. The not so good parts. Only the freight elevator was working during our visit, but, it got us where we were going. The restrooms in the lobby started to breakdown during our visit and we had no room servicing during our time. Could not call the desk, the phone did not work. Now, the good. We were a group of around 65 for a convention, there was also a couple of young sports teams staying as well. The staff were delightful and kind, the breakfast buffet was good, many options and the people kept tables cleared as guests would finish. The meals at the conventions were good as well. I believe some of it was from the adjoining steakhouse, was all good. The hotel was a good location, the rooms were typical hotel rooms, bed was comfortable enough and quiet enough for us. There seems to be a needed renovation taking place from the top floor down. We decided it was a good enough hotel, despite the few hiccups and would totally stay again🙂

Horrible walking up 4 flights of stairs with luggage.

Liked:Location was good.
Disliked:Elevator was broke, mold growing by shower, bad smell. Kids running in hall. Carpet is bad. They over charge and didn't want to help with fixing anything.

Rude staff, everything broken, dirty and unsanitary

Liked:Stayed here April 16–19 for a “stay and play” volleyball tournament and unfortunately this was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. Both elevators were out of service the entire stay. I have a broken foot and use a knee scooter, and there were also elderly guests struggling with the stairs. No real solution was provided. The stairwell everyone was forced to use was unsafe and unsanitary. It was cluttered with construction materials, had rodent droppings, and multiple guests reported seeing a rat. Our room was not clean. The shower would not drain due to a large amount of hair and debris. Maintenance never came, and we ended up cleaning it ourselves. We also wiped down surfaces and the wipes were black with dirt. We never saw housekeeping during our stay. Several guests reported bugs in their rooms. Those rooms were then reassigned to other families. Staff behavior was also disappointing. Guests were told at check-in that “obnoxious volleyball players” were staying on certain floors before the team had even arrived. At breakfast, athletes were denied food during posted hours and spoken to rudely. For nearly $600, this fell far below Hilton standards. This property should not be used for large events until major issues with cleanliness, maintenance, and management are addressed.

Liked:You know there are these signs in the Hilton that say we promise you that your visit will be the best it’s ever guaranteed but this property was old dirty and very uncomfortable. One elevator was only working and it took forever to get up and down. I’m just amazed that they would leave this type of hotel open. Further, I’m amazed that booking.com would rate it so highly. It makes me wonder if the rating system in bookings.com is even valid.
