Liked:Fun activities for the family. Our pontoon boat captain was great.

Disliked:Rooms were quite outdated. Towels only removed once by housekeeping, despite being requested. Had to have bed sheets changed upon arrival as they were not washed.

Great Muskoka Getaway!

Liked:We had a wonderful stay at Deerhurst Resort while celebrating my in-laws’ 50th wedding anniversary. The staff truly went above and beyond to make our visit special, and we really appreciated their exceptional service. The food at the restaurants was delicious, and the new fitness facility was fantastic with great equipment. The resort has so much to offer and is a great destination for young families as well as golfers. Overall, we had a lovely time and would definitely recommend Deerhurst Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing Muskoka getaway!

Hit and miss

Liked:Beautiful location, swanky main building. Average food. We stayed in a two bed suite in The Greens booked by our travel agent as the final stop on a road trip. What a disappointment for a four star resort. It was giving old peoples home vibes. One shower was broken. It appeared like it hadn't been decorated since it was built. These suites aren't serviced either. Only positive was it had laundry facilities. Would not recommend

Please note this property has a resort fee of $39.95 CAD per night. The nightly resort fee includes parking, WiFi, in-room coffee service, use of the indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub, towel service, fitness room, board games. For the summer season it also includes use of inflatable water park and all non-motorized water craft such as canoes, kayaks, standup paddle boards. During winter the resort fee includes cross country skiing, snow shoeing, ice skating and hockey. These facilities and activities are covered by the resort fee.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in.
