We stay at Baymont in Galveston repeatedly, but we will not stay here again.

Liked:The view of the lake was beautiful.

Disliked:The breakfast area lacked attention and needed a deep clean. Food was left out all day and I’m guessing was reserved the next morning.very disappointing!

The rooms were cold and comfortable

Liked:Our rooms were great , clean , cold , plenty of clean towels.

Disliked:From the time we stepped out of our car we felt that the parking lot entrance was not clean especially the front entrance and seeing all of that old trashed out furniture on the side was an eye sore. The main complaint I had with your facility was the dining room. It was dirty the three days we were there.The lady that picked up the food after 9:00 never wiped down counter tops , never swept , never mopped , we purposely watched a piece of candy lay in the same place three days and the window seals had many bugs in them. The toast , Bagles , Muffins , were left out one day till 6:00 pm and my husband got up at 3:00 am the last day we were there and all of these items had never been picked up from that morning !!!!!! We stay at the Baymont in Galveston around six times a year and their dining room is spotless. But on a brighter note the outside furniture was amazing and comfortable. One thing that we did not was there was hardly a time that there was a person at the front desk. We had to wait a while when we got to your facility because no one was at the desk. Someone finally called for a staff member to check us in.
