Razor blade in room

Liked:The front desk gentleman was very nice.

Disliked:First, we booked 2 rooms and one of the rooms we booked wasn't even ready/available when we arrived at 9pm. They had to scramble to removed unwashed laundry and clean it asking us to wait 30+ minutes to make it available. When we brought our kids into their room first because they were falling asleep in the lobby we found a rusted razor blade on the table in their room. We brought it up to the front desk, which they apologized but that was about it. After settling the kids we waited another 20 mins when one of the staff asked if we would be willing to take a lesser room to be closer to our kids (teenaged) which was only one room closer, so not really closer. As we sat during this time we witnessed that most of the staff also lived in the "hotel" along with multiple other people that also seemed to be long term stays. There were piles to trash bags outside rooms as well. In the room we finally got the linens on the bed were not clean, stains on pillows and didn't smell laundered like the towels did. When we checked out I stated to the front desk woman our concerns, who said she was filling in, about safety, about the razor blade (we also found more in the parking lot), giving us a lesser room because the one we booked wasn't usable. She did take notes telling me they would be in contact. I still have yet to receive any communication. This was not a pleasant stay and not sure I even got any sleep being concerned for my children's safety.
