Nice walkable place, close to train station.

Liked:Fantastic location! Walkable, safe, nice restaurants nearby, and train station. Hotel was very clean, and I like that they have no carpet. The front desk staff were nice.

Disliked:Only parking for 12 cars, as available, but free. If you’re not lucky enough to get a spot, local parking is only for 2-3 hours a day. Overnight street parking can be found, but spotty. Breakfast was only ok. Not good coffee, pastries, cereal, a bowl of boiled eggs, yogurt, juice. Price seemed super expensive for what we got, but then we are not used to NY hotel prices.

Stressful.

Liked:One of the reservationists was very nice - Michael.

Disliked:We had to check out early since we had an unexpected death in the family. Cancelling our room and our daughter's room was extremely difficult. We were told it was all taken care of, and then received calls that they noticed we were not in our room. They said we would get refunded and get an email, but neither of those things happened. With the stress of our situation and less than adequate staff knowledge, the experience was very stressful.

Don't settle here without checking out The East Norwich Inn.

Liked:Was near a lot of places to eat and the train station is directly across the street. Within walking distance to Dunkin Donut, Starbucks and another neighborhood coffee cafe. Beds were comfortable. Visitors were a bit noisy allowing their doors to slam when leaving or entering.

Disliked:Area is too contested with traffic. Some unsavory aromas of marijuana throughout the hallways and elevators. Guests have to pay for parking ($15.00/day). Street parking is metered parking. Hotel failed to mention not to park on Mondays on the streets between 8:00am to 6:00pm or else the city will slap you with a $50.00.

I checked out less than an hour after I got there but I was refused my refund but that’s ok my family’s health is priori

Disliked:The curtains were dirty, the whole floor was too hot and humid , the AC was inches away from the bed, it smelled stuffy and moldy like.
