What Guests Say

8.1

Excellent

1,482 reviews

Highlights

+Excellent central location near U-Bahn/S-Bahn
+Supermarket and many cafés/restaurants nearby
+Easy 24/7 code check-in often works smoothly
+Generally clean rooms reported by many guests
+Parking available

Could Improve

–No air conditioning — rooms can be unbearably hot in summer
–Noise from shop deliveries/nearby businesses (early morning)
–Occasional entry code failures and unresponsive hotline
–Cockroaches reported in at least one room
–Small bathrooms that get wet after showering; some room defects (broken window, slanted bed)

Cleanliness7.8

Mixed reports: many guests commented the rooms were very clean on arrival and 'super sauber', but there are serious cleanliness red flags (cockroaches reported, some guests noted general cleanliness issues).

Service6.8

Mixed service: self check-in by code often worked smoothly, but there are strong negative incidents (entry code failures, unresponsive hotline, long waits in extreme heat) that lower the service score.

Location10.0

Consistently praised: excellent central location with U-Bahn/S-Bahn at the door, supermarkets, cafés, restaurants and parking nearby — repeatedly highlighted as a major plus.

Room Quality6.4

Multiple issues reported: lack of air conditioning leading to very hot rooms in summer, small bathrooms that get wet after showering, noisy rooms above shops and delivery noise, occasional broken windows or slanted beds.

Amenities9.5

Generally good basic amenities nearby and in-room extras (fridge water, earplugs, parking availability, supermarket underneath). However, notable missing or problematic amenities (no AC in many rooms, noisy ventilator, one report of missing smoke detector).

Value for Money8.1

Standard quality for this hotel tier (not specifically discussed in reviews).

Food and Beverage8.1

Standard quality for this hotel tier (hotel F&B not discussed; plentiful nearby cafés and a supermarket were noted).

Overall Experience8.1

Mixed overall: strong positives for location and basic cleanliness for many guests, offset by heat/no AC, noise issues, occasional pest reports and at least one serious service failure — resulting in an overall mid-high rating.

Liked:central location acces 24/7 ventilator in the room

Disliked:instructions on the building access panel say that you have to enter a 4 digit code, but you only received a 6 digit code (which works but why do they have to confuse their guests and do not correct it?)

Good space, but our room was not in a good location

Liked:The room was clean on arrival. We had a "do not disturb" sign on the door and cleaner opened the door without knocking and apologised. The room was basic but comfortable. I would stay here again. It is a beautiful area with lots of restaurants. No fault to the building but it was too hot and noisy from the shop.

Disliked:Unfortunately we arrived in the heatwave and the only way to get a few hours sleep was to open the balcony doors. We were above the shop who stocked up at a ridiculous time of the morning and only managed 3 hours sleep on the first night due to the noise of moving goods and staff talking loudly.
