Clean but overpriced and a mediocre holiday apartment in middle of an industrial area

Liked:The good part is that the apartment is close to Salzburg and is in Freilassing, which has a fantastic Locomotives museum nearby with a lot of fun things to do for kids. Overall the apartment was fairly clean and tidy. Also the host was easy to reach and gave us clear information when we needed. Plenty of parking available around the house - a good option to park here and take the public transport to Salzburg.

Disliked:EDIT: The property owner's response to the review shows how serious they are about satisfied guests vs. ratings - please check the lower ratings too. We booked for 4 and paid for it in full before checking-in! We booked for 4 people and stayed a night when visiting Salzburg. Unfortunately, the apartment is too small for 4 people - good for maybe 2, not more. Especially for guests with small children or toddlers, it is not very safe (open nails protruding from kitchen platform, unprotected sharp edges on the table in kitchen, curtain rod that easily falls off, etc.) The real downside is the location - it is in middle of industrial area and feels quiet depressing and disappointing for a Ferienwohnung. The beds/pillows were really uncomfortable, especially the foldable camping beds that are added for extra guests - one of them almost folded shut when sitting on it. Also the apartment itself was super warm and there was just one fan provided, which further compromised our comfort. Even the furniture in the apartment was very flimsy - the "dining table" in the kitchen was shaky and not well supported, the curtains on the balcony door could not be drawn to a side and would easily fall off if you try to, one of the chairs was shaky, stability of the Balcony railings is questionable - overall felt very cheaply equipped for not so cheap price (185€ a night per family - for 200 € we stayed in beautiful apartments at fantastic locations the previous nights). Be informed that the apartment is directly under the landing path for flights and it can get annoying with loud noise every 10 mins or so, also late in the evening. Another thing we did not like was that the host came around 10:50 at the door and asked why we hadn't left yet (check-out time was 11:00) and it put us under awkward pressure to leave in a hurry. Cannot recommend for families looking for a comfortable stay in a good location.

Liked:Location: The location of the property is very good. Easy to find the property and near to Salzburg(by car). The place is very quite though it was kind of Industrial area and I was there during public holidays. Parking : It was easy to park my car outside the building since there was ample parking space beside the public road. Accommodation: The Accommodation was very clean and as described in the website.

Disliked:Nothing much but I think the space for the kitchen was little less and could have been little more spacious.
