Great stay while visiting Salzburg!

Liked:Apartment was very clean and well equipped. Free parking was easy to find. Rooms included fans, which were very much appreciated. Location was convenient for Salzburg - only 15 minutes drive away.

Disliked:Mattress in main bedroom should be replaced as it has a low point in the middle. Would be nice if the property included additional garbage bags, paper towel and dishwasher tablets.

Liked:Quite spacious for four people or fewer. It has both a washing machine and a dryer, which was very convenient. The neighbourhood is quiet, and it is cheaper than staying in Salzburg if you have a car, with only a 10–15 minute drive to the P+R at Messe. There are plenty of pots and cooking utensils, a large fridge, and a big sofa. There is also a good bakery nearby, as well as several supermarkets within a 10-minute drive.

Disliked:The cooking appliances (e.g. the baking tray in the oven and some of the pans) were quite dirty and greasy, so they needed to be cleaned before use. The Tefal coating on some of the frying pans was also quite badly worn, and I think they should be replaced for safety reasons. There's only one toilet, so if there are more than 3–4 people staying, there might be a queue to use the toilet. There is a coffee machine and filter paper provided, but no coffee, which I found quite strange. It would also be helpful to provide some baking/parchment paper or aluminium foil to line the baking tray, as food tends to stick to it and the tray is quite difficult to clean afterwards. Overall, the hygiene and cleanliness were below the standard I would typically expect from a hotel. The towels smelled slightly musty, as if they had not been completely fresh. During our stay in summer, there were also quite a lot of mosquitoes, and all of my fellow travellers were bitten quite badly. Providing mosquito repellent or installing insect screens could help with this. There is no air conditioning, only fans, so the rooms could feel quite hot on particularly warm days (30°C+). Finally, the location is somewhat far from the nearest bus/train stations, so I would not recommend this accommodation if you are not travelling by car.
