Room in the rainforest with a spectacular view

Liked:The view from the room AND shower was spectacular and part of the main reason I stayed at the lodge, so 10/10 for that. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the lodge location is literally right next to the Mistico hanging bridges park, which I recommend visiting as well.

Disliked:The lodge is in the rainforest and there is always humidity, so was a distinct smell of mold/mildew in the air in the room, but as long as you kept the AC and fan on, you go nose blind fairly quick.

Liked:Great stay overall, good breakfast at the lost iguana.

Disliked:We got stopped at the Mistico checkpoint every time before getting to the hotel which was inconvenient, sometime having to wait in long car line before able to pass. We advised the hotel to get guest passes.

Liked:The property is beautiful and the view of Arenal from our villa was breathtaking. The breakfast at the neighboring property was delicious. We also enjoyed several good dinners at the restaurant. I loved everything about Sangregado and would highly recommend it. Additionally, the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.

Disliked:No ofrece absolutamente nada, todo es fuera del hotel, no hay restaurante sino un bus a una hora específica que te lleva a otro hotel para el desayuno , no hay piscina , ni jacuzi , la TV es sin cable, si como nos pasó empieza a llover te queda encerrado en la habitación porque no hay ningún espacio común un bar on restaurante un espacio donde quedarte
