Nice family resort but it is not good value for money.

Liked:The beautiful greenery and the practicality of the room.

Disliked:There were several unexpected additional charges, such as fees for towel rental and charges for water and soft drinks, despite our stay being on a HB basis. Also beach food service is so slow.

Liked:My wife and I chose Sugar Beach for our babymoon, and we couldn’t have picked a better location. Being a new mum-to-be she we were both naturally a little cautious when it came to ordering pregnancy-friendly food or mocktails, but the staff were totally on the ball and nailed every request. Indeed, the staff were absolutely stellar. The waiters at the Patio restaurant, the adult pool team and the sport centre boys were so warm, friendly and welcoming. They really made our stay the great experience it was. The room was comfortable, and the housekeeping folks really looked after us. Facilities were good, and the beach was super clean and picturesque perfect. Thank you to the entire team for making our last big holiday before baby such a great experience. Like many other new parents we saw there, maybe we’ll be back with our child in the next year!

Disliked:Very very little. If I had to pick, I would say I wasn’t so impressed with the Mare Mare restaurant or Buddha Bar. The service was a bit slow/hit and miss for me, and the entertainment a bit lacklustre. Also, a few items of buffet food would be always cold (that should be hot, like bacon!). However, a simple request to one of the lovely chefs there and they would warm it up for you right there.
