Liked:The hotel has beautiful views, and the free shuttle service to the city several times a day was very convenient. The breakfast was also excellent, with a good variety of options. Although our first room wasn’t what we expected, the staff handled the situation very well. We were first moved to another room and later, after reporting a broken power socket, the front desk manager upgraded us to a much better corner room. It had an amazing view, was significantly quieter, and made our stay much more enjoyable. In this final room, we couldn’t hear any noise from the bar, the stairs, or anywhere else, which made a huge difference. There was also a second swimming pool nearby that was peaceful, cleaner, and much less crowded than the main pool.

Disliked:Our initial room had a view of other hotel rooms instead of the sea. The room also felt a bit dated and wasn’t as clean as expected. One of the power outlets next to the bed was broken, and although the maintenance team tried to fix it, it couldn’t be repaired. Noise insulation could definitely be improved. In the first rooms, we could hear people using the stairs, noise from a nearby electrical room, and music from the bar above our room until late at night. The main swimming pool could also be maintained better, as it didn’t appear to be cleaned thoroughly.

Liked:Very friendly and helpful staff. Absolutely breathtaking views throughout the hotel. Room was a good size as well. Great pool facilities. Would stay again.

Disliked:Getting to the hotel from airport was rather expensive (shuttle costs 35 EUR for 15 minute trip). Hotel is rather isolated on very busy road, so not very pedestrian friendly. Felt like hotel staff were frequently trying to upsell residents with certain excursions or a Thursday night special at the restaurant with a musician (who honestly was average at best). The hotel restaurant felt overpriced and average in terms of food quality.

Important Information

Volcano View Hotel participates in the Greek Breakfast Initiative by the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels. Please also note that the villas operate for most of the winter season. The winter villa package operates on a self catering basis with once daily maid service only. Summer services like 24-hour reception and free shuttle bus to town are not included in the winter. Breakfast is also not included since the hotel restaurant is closed. The villa manager will greet arriving guests and will be available 24 hours for any assistance you may require. For reservations affected by covid19 , if you will not be able to travel on the specific reserved dates, you will be provided the option to modify your reservations for new dates free of charge based on availability or receive voucher for the use of the amount on future dates. A deposit may be required at the property.
