Good location, overall not worth the money

Liked:The building is beautiful, location is nice and very close to the beach and restaurants without being in the middle of very busy streets.

Disliked:Our room had a very intense damp smell as if it hadn’t been aired out. Being at the ground floor, opening the windows wasn’t great as people could see our bed and it was quite loud as it faced the street. Same with the toilet window which opened right into the inner garden where people kept passing by. The room in general felt quite small and uninviting. Also the shower was clogged, the water would drain super slow. The breakfast is an extra 16 eur. We only had it on the first day and skipped the rest as the eggs were gray and tasted weird on the first day. They also have timeslots for breakfast as they don’t have enough space for all guests. The parking is also extra paid. Except for a complimentary sauna for 30 mins, all spa use is also extra. We didn’t even use the complimentary one. We booked 3 nights but left after the second night. Absolutely overpriced for the value you get. I recommend staying at another nearby town and doing a day trip to Étretat and staying maximum 1 night, a longer stay is not needed.

Liked:We had a lovely superior room and bathroom in the separate annexe. Easy walking distance to the beautiful Étretat Gardens and the promenade along the beachfront and cliffs. Lots of restaurants and places to have a sunset drink. Lots of crowds during the day but peaceful at night once the day visitors leave.

Disliked:The crowds during the day were a bit overwhelming .

I don't recomend this hotel

Liked:the location is perfect, although the parking is limited.

Disliked:the bed mattress is terrible, in very bad conditions, the stairs very narrow to climb with suitcase in hand, no elevator, the staff only speak French, very limited English.
