A peaceful mountain getaway

Liked:What a beautiful, peaceful place for a weekend get away! We enjoyed the dog friendly cozy cabin and used the kitchen to enjoy meals at “home.” Looking out our windows at the lovely mountain views and hiking the trails on the YMCA property were just what we needed to rejuvenate.

Loved it!

Liked:We had a fantastic time. The views are incredible with elk on the property multiple days. The grounds are well kept and massive and there is so much to do from roller skating to swimming and organized programs too and you are so close to the entrance for RMNP. The dining hall is good and convenient but really pricy.

So much to do !

Liked:Needed more than our 2 days before nearby wedding. Horseback riding at Jackson Stables was highlight for me. Followed by great massage in wellness Center. Regret that I didn’t have time for roller skating and swimming, although the pool staff told me that water is heated to an incredible (and horrifying) 85f. Room in Longs Peak Lodge was Spartan but sufficient; had a refrigerator. Upon arrival room was an unbearable 64f, had to raise AC. Counter around sink is TOO SMALL for 2 persons’ toiletries. No TV, missed. Overall, dated. Dining facilities on site early October and until summer VERY limited. Dining room meals are all buffet all you can stuff yourself. Probably a good deal but more than we wanted to spend. If not interested in being and looking like a pig, the Rustic Cafe offers few prepared sandwiches and pastry including fab banana raisin bread. Had to drive to town for entree choice and reasonable cost.

Great views of Elk & Deer

Liked:Great place to stay to see the most beautiful wonders mountains, wildlife but bare basics of the cabins no tv except in the lobby. You are there to enjoy beautiful nature & views it was very clean as well.
