Amazing

Liked:Customer service was amazing when we had a problem or even question they answered everything the rooms where clean and nice bed was amazing and comfortable me and my husband were here for are anniversary we got flowers and champagne over all was amazing stay would recommend!!

Liked:We were really looking forward to being at the Estes Park Resort during our visit to RMNP. The front desk staff accommodated a change in our reservation on our check in day. Shout out to Kim for the help! Unfortunately, I should have read the review from last year about construction happening during their stay. THE SAME thing happened to us with construction happening during our stay in March 2026. As the other poster said, we paid $500/night in 2 rooms and we could not enjoy our balcony at all. The crew started at 8am and continued until almost 6p with chainsaws and power tools. What's frustrating is that we were not alerted in advance of the construction. Even a 2 star hotel gives guests a heads up - I expected more communication from a 4 star. The other reviewer got it right when calling out that the front desk staff did their best to apologize but not one message or acknowledgement from their management. To contrast, I got multiple text messages and door hangers pushing the overpriced breakfast. But not one comment, in person, by text or even email, about the construction. There are many places to stay in Estes Park and you should stay in one that values your experience

Great Visit, Great View

Liked:Excellent location with view of the lake and Rocky Mountain National Park. Very convenient to Downtown Estes Park and the entrance to RMNP. Great staff and large comfortable room with living space ~ very clean and great amenities in the room. Traditional look but modern vibe. Definitely worth every penny ~

Disappointing

Liked:The venue itself was beautiful — and it’s the location my soon-to-be son-in-law chose to propose to my daughter, which should have made it even more special. Unfortunately, upon arrival we were met with irritation instead of excitement. The staff seemed upset that we had not notified them of the proposal plans. All he wanted was to use the small gazebo outside — in 23° weather (feeling like 12° with the wind) — for about 20 minutes. For that, we were charged $500, which was the equivalent of our two-night stay. We had 18 people with us for this occasion and spent a significant amount not only on lodging, but also dining and drinks at the bar to celebrate. To be treated as though we were inconveniencing the establishment was extremely disappointing. For a venue that presents itself as “high-end,” the hospitality did not reflect that standard. At one point, I was even handed a mop and towel to clean up a spill myself. This was meant to be a once-in-a-lifetime moment for our family. While the setting was beautiful, the service and overall experience left us very disappointed.
