Beware the half price dinner offer

Liked:Lovely hotel and staff. But be aware that special offers come with the caveat (small print so small that you couldn't read it) such as half price steak dinners with the small print that you had to have 2 courses ( which were not cheap) in order to access this offer. We found out too late and it left a bitter taste of what would otherwise have been a great experience. Lots of other people in the restaurant felt conned by this non offer also.

Good food coupled with excellent service at Chez Mal restaurant

Liked:We went for dinner at Chez Mal restaurant in this hotel and we found the ambience and the food to be great. Tried some delicious fresh trout and flatiron with avocado a unique combination. But to top it up the service provided by our hostess Billie was remarkable helping us with her recommendations and making amendments to our order when we changed our mind a bit later. Thank You Billie for making a memorable evening!

Tired - very tired.

Liked:God knows when the place was last refurbished. It desperately needs a complete make over. The design and décor of the bar makes it look like a 1950's truck stop. Our bedroom "suite" was a dismal place with a second ridiculously placed bath in a corner of the room. The only bright spot was a first class breakfast served by two excellent waitresses.
