High society!

Liked:Stately, dignified place with outstanding staff. Grounds and golf course are beautiful. Bar seems lively but also cozy and clubby. Loved it!

Best place to stay in Durham

Liked:I recently stayed at The Washington Duke Inn and Golf Club for a work conference. This is my second time here for a conference. This is my favorite place to come to. The entire staff is courteous, kind, and helpful. The Inn is absolutely beautiful and meticulously maintained. I brought my daughter along and she was in awe of just how beautiful it is. The food for the conference and at the Bull Durham Bar and Restaurant was delicious. I would highly recommend the Washington Duke to anyone.

Excellent luxury hotel

Liked:Beautiful classic hotel. New renovated lobby with new pictures of the Duke family. We stayed in a suite. It was spacious and beautifully appointed. I called for slippers and they came in just a few minutes. The only downside was the TV remote was a bit difficult to use, seemed like the buttons were old.
