You just have to stay here.

Liked:It really is a hidden gem. Old world charm and style with really lovely genuine staff. The rooms are all different in style and very comfortable. My only criticism is that an extra shelf in the bathroom would help. Our bathroom had a jacuzzi bath big enough for two with shower. For Brits travelling the Queen Anne has tea, yes tea with a kettle and real not flavoured milk! Fresh cookies are available each day. After a long journey it is heaven found. Parking is down the back of the house. On arrival you're given the full tour. Note there is no life for your bags. Staff will help with bags. Location is good for the Italian restaurant coptra over the other side of the park. A pizza place is just down the road, very basic but do fresh pizza. Fantastic place to stay our house keeper was Lisa, who also gave the recipe for Lemon Crinkle Cookies that are to die for, very morish. Lisa suggest we get the recipe book Sally's Baking 101 Cookbook available on Amazon is USA and UK. UK has 3 months lead time. Breakfast is cooked individually for you and is really good. You can eat in or in the garden at the back of the b& b

Nearly perfect

Liked:Wonderful and creative vegetarian breakfast! Cool huge old house with two staircases which helped us pull off a surprise for a birthday. The host helped also! Free parking, gardens front & back. Across the street from a park in up town. Less than a 15 minute walk to 16th street but not through a neighborhood I would walk in at night. 16th street mall street is under major construction replacing pipes, we took an Uber back (10/2024). Nice beds, beautiful furniture, books and decorations, quiet, safe, Our room (Columbine) bathtub wouldn’t hold water for a bath. And their room (Fountain) did not have dark curtains so the light that shines on the b&b sign outside was too bright and that kept my friend awake were our only complaints.
