Bad Experience_ Donot Book

Liked:Review – Mercure La Défense Paris I stayed at Mercure La Défense Paris for three nights, and unfortunately my experience with the breakfast service was extremely disappointing. Today was my last day, and I had to leave the hotel without breakfast despite it being included in my stay. I arrived at 7:30 a.m., well within breakfast hours, but almost all platters were completely empty. There were no vegetables, not a single fruit available, and hardly anything left to eat. Breakfast was being served in two separate rooms, yet both were nearly empty. Guests were standing around waiting, but the staff did not refill the food items in time. It felt very poorly managed and unacceptable for a hotel of this category. Leaving for my departure without breakfast after paying for it was very frustrating. Sadly, this experience significantly affected my overall impression of the hotel. I hope the management improves their breakfast service and guest experience in the future.

Quite good

Liked:The hotel was a bit far from the city center but easily connected there via public transportation, with some good local restaurants were around the corner. A shopping mall with a small supermarket was behind the hotel too. Room was simple and basic and a bit filthy. WiFi was slow. The heater in our room did not work, so our room was as cold as in the fridge. We informed the front desk staff and they said someone would come up to fix it but it seemed not to be fixed properly.

Great hotel. I’ll be back.

Liked:I like the breakfast, even though it’s simple it is really good and has everything you need. The pain au chocolat is perfect, I had to many🥲great coffee as well.

Disliked:We originally ordered the suite, but it was quite unclean and full of spots. Probably previous guests fault, but we asked to switch and it was no problem. The other rooms are great.
