Grand Joanne - great hotel.

Liked:We got to the hotel at 9am due to an early flight, went to drop our bags off and they let us check in really early. Fantastic customer service and experience after a 13hr flight. 2 minute walk from train station. Small but comfortable rooms. Very clean. Bicycle hire was super easy. Room 125 was near the elevator but you couldn’t hear it at all, the room was very quiet. There is no bar fridge so we couldn’t keep any drinks cold in the room. Good clean gym with new equipment.

Beware room size is ridiculously small!

Liked:Location was great; conveniently located near the airport (only one short train ride and walk away).

Disliked:The room size! I did not read the fine print. Booking.com did not show the room size on the booking page. I have to dig in later to find out that cozy room was 9 square meters! that's way too small. I felt so claustrophobic when I stayed there.

Location location location

Liked:This hotel is easy to get to by public transportation including from the airport. You will be in reasonable walking distance from many of the sights you wish to see. The buffet is good, the staff is friendly and the facilities are clean (though our room was a little small).
