Friendly staff, strict rules

Liked:Amazing and polite staff, really friendly.

Disliked:Again, staff were amazing. Breakfast is great tasty food but limited in quantity and you have to pay 50kr to add an egg for example. The lunch package is pretty impractical you are asked to go to some cafe but you have to specify a time so hotel can coordinate, I ended up not using it even once. Finally few weeks ago we had an emergency but Hotel refused to change the dates even when they were clearly available rooms, and we were informing them early, they were within their legal right but that left a sour taste in the stay, hence the low rating.

Lovely enough hotel but poor response to a problem

Liked:Location was amazing, right in the centre of the city with shops, restaurants and tourist activities all a short walk away. Hotel was modern and trendy, breakfast was absolutely amazing, the room was cosy and comfortable, staff were very friendly.

Disliked:Staff response to an incident. Upon arriving we were offered a complementary drink as the hotel checked us in. When the drinks were brought over, they both slipped and smashed on to my phone, passport and wallet which were on the table, drenching all of it. I was not frustrated or angry with this at all as mistakes happen, we are human after all. However the response to the damage was not good. Despite this and the damage to my personal items, there was no offer of anything to help remediate or any good will as a result of the accident, to the extent that we were still charged for water consumed from our mini bar in room. I am not so entitled to think I "deserved" something, but I walked away with a damaged mobile phone and passport and would have at least expected some show of good will as a result. They were lovely people, but did not handle this particular situation as best as they could.
