Disliked:All three rooms we tried smelled like mold. Ran into another couple and they were having the same problem. We finally settled on a room on the 1st floor. Would not recommend.

Nice hotel within easy reach of Patriots Point

Liked:I have stayed in a number of Comfort inns. This one was okay. The room was generally clean. Gym was simple and well used. Could have done with a cycling machine. Staff were nice enough to talk to and would offer assistance once asked. The wonderful Chef that served breakfast was enthusiastic and talkative creating a general friendly environment in the morning. The bed was comfortable and room a great size. The location was excellent for Patriots Point very walkable which I would thoroughly encourage. However getting to Charleston definitely requires a car or $25 Uber. Parking was great in terms of location. Expect it to get busy throughout the evening.

Disliked:It was obvious some TLC could be used on the doors and general maintenance of the property, especially the doors, elevator and carpet. But the room was pleasant.
