Liked:I liked the location and the cleanliness of the room. Front desk people were very helpful and friendly.

Disliked:I thought the room was a bit dark and there were no offers in the lobby like years ago. Cookies and happy hour.

Stay away!!!

Liked:Do not stay here - it is not the typical Residence Inn in terms of cleanliness, service, or amenities. This must be a franchise! The pool is being remodeled and is not on the website saying that. Rooms are soo dated and filthy. Housekeeping came once in 7 night stay - and they just replaced towels, didn’t even make a bed. They charged $4.99 for parking and when I questioned it at check out, the employee told me “it is what it is and I’m not making any adjustments”. She refused to give me her name. I told her this place was a dump and she said “yes this hotel is a dump, but it kept you safe”. I replied, “we are in Carmel, the best city in the state in Indiana”. The only person who was service minded was Erika Y who worked the breakfast buffet. We checked out 3 days ago and still trying to reach a manager - nobody returns a call and nobody can say when a manager will be there. Marriott Corporate needs to get involved as this place is an embarrassment.
