Cleanliness1.0

Multiple reviews explicitly note the apartment was clean ('limpio', 'propre', 'clean'), so cleanliness is judged positively.

Service1.0

Hosts described as responsive, accommodating (early access, luggage storage) and helpful in many reviews, indicating positive service.

Location1.0

Location repeatedly praised as excellent/central and within walking distance to sights; clearly a strong positive in the reviews.

Room Quality1.0

Mixed comments on room quality: several notes of comfortable, spacious rooms but multiple specific complaints about bed/sofa-bed comfort, a hard pillow, and some noise — overall leaning negative.

Amenities1.0

Amenities are mixed: positives like underground parking and basic equipment, but repeated negatives (no elevator, missing/different coffee maker type, noisy extractor fan, a sink drainage issue, no dining table/plug for a bath) lower this score.

Value for Money1.0

Several guests explicitly call the property good value or recommend it for the price, so value is modestly positive.

Food and Beverage1.0

No substantive mentions of on-site food or beverage services in reviews; assigned the target overall rating.

Overall Experience1.0

Overall sentiment is generally positive with multiple recommendations and praise for host and location, despite some room/amenity issues.

Liked:The location is excellent within a reasonably short walk from the station and many of the sights - although the walk to the old town is uphill. It is a well equipped property with all that you would need for a comfortable stay and very quiet considering its central location. There are a number of supermarkets within an easy walk and numerous places to eat and drink in the various squares. Tourist Info is a short walk away and very helpful.

Disliked:Although the property has a photo of a bath - one of the reasons for my choosing it - in actual fact there are no taps or plug for the bath which was a shame as I would have appreciated that after a long, hot day. Also the access is up quite a narrow, windy staircase which is quite difficult to negotiate with luggage, although the host did offer the services of his son there were no contact details provided. But this doesnt take away from my overall enjoyment of my stay in Carcassonne - I do hope to return.

Last minute booking that suited our needs for a self-catering short stay.

Liked:It was easy to book this property from the local town square and check in straight away. The apartment was refurbished in a modern style, with comfortable bed and everything needed for a self catering stay. The location was convenient for shops, including Monoprix, train station, and castle of Carcassonne.

Disliked:It was still 30 degrees in September so it was hotter than we would have liked but everything we were using in our flat at home in the hot weather was provided - fans, fridge and freezer. The adjustable tower fan and ceiling fan kept the bedroom comfortable at night without much noise.
