Clean Hotel, Good Location

Liked:We were in the area for a soccer tournament and stayed at this hotel because of the proximity to the fields. It was very close. The room was clean. Hotel is renovating the restaurant, so there's some construction due to that. We ordered burgers the first night there. My son's burger was not correct (had onions) but mine was as ordered. Breakfast was from 7-9am, which is a pretty short range, I think.

Deceptive practices.

Liked:We spent two nights, 2/27 and 28 for my daughter’s volleyball tournament. We chose the inn because they have an attached restaurant. We’ve stayed here before many times. Upon check in we couldn’t help but notice that the restaurant was closed due to renovations. After complaining to the desk staff, they pointed to a small alert on their website regarding the closed restaurant. I guess you need to read the entire website before booking. It’s a shame. They didn’t even have coffee set up in the lobby to try to accommodate for the inconvenience. They could not have cared less. We won’t be back.

Liz, star concierge

Liked:We had a lovely stay here while doing a campus tour. Liz,our concierge , went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She is a treasure and we will never forget her kindness. Not only is she an asset to the University, she is a shining star in the hospitality sector. The Inn is the perfect location for tours and exploring Blacksburg. Clean, well appointed rooms and comfortable beds.
