Great stay at a great location and friendly staff. Good breakfast with coffee and tea at the ready all day.

Liked:Awesome location, walk to lifts and resort village. Super friendly staff. Plenty of parking for guests. Guest equipment room near lodge entrance is convenient.
Disliked:Not much. Maybe the rooms are a little outdated and uncomfortable pillows.

Outstanding value, great staff and a very comfortable pet-friendly property!

Liked:First, the staff were outstanding. I had to call the hotel to clarify the pet policy. It’s listed as a ‘no pets’ property, but they do allow pets. Carla at the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly, and got us squared away so we could bring our doggo. All the staff we interacted with were just great, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern and clean. Our room was excellent, spacious with all the necessary appointments, and the beds were super comfy. The included breakfast was very good, with a lot more options than most places. The place is literally right at the base of some ski lifts, so if you’re going for the skiing you are set. An indoor pool and hot tub and three outdoor hot tubs are there to soothe your muscles after a day on the slopes. Price was excellent, surprisingly low given the location and amenities. A truly great bargain.

Solid lodging option at Big Sky

Liked:My teenaged son and I came up to Big Sky over the weekend in early April for his Spring Break. We stayed 2 nights (Sat and Sun night) at the Lodge at Big Sky. My wife (stayed home) managed to score a great last minute (and late season) deal for a King Room... We had a great time and if we ever come back to Big Sky, I can definitely see staying here again. Our room was very spacious and had plenty of room for winter gear. It had a fridge, microwave and bar sink with a little counter space. Also a table and 2 chairs.... Just enough space to prepare a lunch or quick meal... The bathroom was clean. The king bed was adequate for the both of us. The common area was great...rustic, yet open and airy... This cozy common room had a small bar, many tables and chairs, couches, gas fireplace and a small bar with free tea, hot chocolate etc... There's an indoor pool and hot tub, plus a nice patio outside with 3 hot tubs, a coupla tables and chairs, fire pit and gas grille... The weather was nice and relatively mild, so hanging out by the fire was a great time... They also had a free buffet breakfast with eggs, sausage, bacon, build-your-own soft breakfast tortillas, hot and cold cereal, pancake machine, yogurt, pastries and fruit... Location was near perfect...maybe 200 yards from the gondola lift station and less than a 5 minute walk from the village. Plenty of parking, tho it cost us $12/night.... Great views in every direction.... Not sure if this is a common practice, but skis/boards aren't allowed in the rooms, so you have to store them in a semi secure storage room just outside the front door.... Staff were top notch...very friendly and helpful. And the guys worked their butts off keeping the breakfast buffet running smoothly as it got pretty crowded... Also, they use quality plates, cutlery and napkins, not the cheapo foam plates and flimsy cutlery you see at other places.... The only real complaints are the $12 parking fee and the thin walls (i was able to hear some guy next to us at 7:15 AM yapping on his phone).... Also, considering how spacious the king rooms are, i was a bit surprised there weren't sofa beds in the rooms, nor did they have cots available... While our king bed was adequate for the both of us, either one of these options would've made it even better.... But overall, we had a great stay and i would definitely recommend staying here.
