I slept good

Liked:Your staff don’t have no customer service and no respect for the people that is renting there they act like they are better and they don’t even know who they’re dealing with or who a person may be. They’re not courteous and those are people at the front desk anytime someone coming to the facility they need to have a smile and be polite. They are nasty and they have a bad attitude too damn comfortable.
Disliked:Stand office and away from the city

Not really worth saving $40 versus staying at the location closer to work.

Disliked:I dislike the automated check in. When I checked in the printer wasn’t working so I had to get my room number and a map from the actual employee who was present. It raised this week and at approximately 1-1:30a my feeling was dripping on my face. I was on the ground floor. I initially moved the bed to avoid the dripping only to realize the problem was spreading. I alerted the front desk who moved me to a different room immediately. That was awesome. There was also a huge spider in the first room that I dispatched. For nearly $400 for a 5 night stay I don’t expect leaking ceilings on the ground floor. I can over look the spider, however the annoyance of packing and moving rooms in the middle of the night was very bad. The actual staff on site is very friendly and helpful, the virtual check in was cumbersome and annoying.

A Bio Hazard and public health disgrace

Liked:A Biohazard and a Public Health Disgrace Rating: 0/5 Stars This is not a hotel; it is a slumlord-run property that represents a genuine public health hazard. I am writing this to warn anyone—especially those who may be placed here for medical recovery—to stay far away. I was placed here after a hospital stay, and the conditions were so appalling that I ended up back in the hospital with an eye infection caused by the room itself. The Filth Factor The level of neglect here is staggering. It is not just "unkempt"; it is infested with grime and neglect. Floors: The floors are so sticky and filthy that you are forced to wear shoes at all times just to avoid infection. I was told by cleaning staff that they are "not allowed" to mop—they only sweep. Windows & Mold: The window seals are caked in black, moldy mud. Combined with massive holes in the screens, it is impossible to open a window for air without inviting in bugs. The Smell: The room reeks of a stagnant, nauseating odor that no amount of Fabreze or Lysol could ever mask. Linens & Fixtures: I encountered yellowing, pee-smelling shower curtains and dirty spots on sheets so I brought in my own bedding and sheets. Life-Safety Hazards Beyond the filth, the building is a code-violation nightmare: Fire Hazards: There is exposed wiring throughout the building, posing a clear fire risk with old wiring to plugs showing frayed. Structural Integrity: Ceiling tiles are water-stained and leaking with the rain. Security: There are broken doors on the property with no lock. Climate Control: The AC unit was intermittent and noisy, didnt stay on and making for an impossible environment to rest in. Management’s Negligence When I attempted to address these issues, the manager’s response was nothing short of hostile. When I asked about the lack of cleaning, he bluntly stated, "As a brand, Motel 6 does not clean." He was dismissive, rude, and told me, "If you don’t like it, leave." This reflects a total lack of accountability from both the manager and the ownership. A Message to the San Mateo Hospital Foundation Donors I was sent here by a foundation as part of "post-hospital support." To the donors of the San Mateo Hospital Foundation: Is this the standard of care you believe your gifts are providing? When I reached out to the foundation’s leadership, they acknowledged the reports I gave two weeks ago but chose not to sever the partnership with this hotel. I feel that there may be a problem with this partnership ethically. This is not "support"—it is putting vulnerable patients into a hazardous, unsanitary, and degrading environment. If you want to help people recovering from health issues, you must ensure that your partnerships reflect dignity, safety, and basic human respect, not this repulsive, broken-down pit. Stay away. If you value your health, look anywhere else.

Liked:The price was reasonable and it was great not to be gouged for traveling with a dog. Bed was comfortable and grounds well maintained and nice to walk dog around.
Disliked:I was put in an accessibility room. The bathroom sink was coming detached from the wall. Sink had no countertop to put products. Soap smelled like something I would wash dog with and no shampoo so had to buy something I could use. A/C unit support were broken and the unit was loud.
