Comfy but needs better cleaning service

Liked:This place has a great outdoor patio with 2 big grills and lots of comfy seating for a big gathering and hangout. The rooms are spacious enough and beds are comfortable. The housekeeping staff is not very thorough in their cleaning and we not once got a mop or vacuum during our 8 day stay.

Rooms, showers, fitness, breakfast all worked - would stay here again

Liked:Hotel was modern and bed and couch were comfortable. Shower worked well with strong pressure and plenty of hot water. Fitness room was well equipped with both a Peloton and another bike as well as several treadmills and some free weights. Breakfast was basic but we really appreciated the many options including oatmeal and chia pudding as well as eggs, bagels and the usual sides. Front desk staff was friendly but desk was left unattended for many minutes at times. I found this odd. The policy of cleaning rooms only every second day should have been made clearer. Even when we asked on the first day to get our room cleaned, and we were told that it would be, it wasn't. When we went back the next day to ask, we were told that our room had not been on the list for cleaning the day before. The location was perfect for access to 101 and to Belmont but there was a lot of highway noise. Parking was adequate but spaces were small - a bit too close together. Price was very reasonable for the offering especially in such a desirable area (Peninsula). Overall, I would stay here again.
