Great place to stay in Bar Harbor

Liked:This lodging facility has many wonderful qualities, but its greatest selling point is Christopher! He is a local and an innkeeper at the manor, and his honest, thoughtful, and knowledgeable recommendations for where to eat and what to do truly helped make our trip to Bar Harbor amazing. The location is perfect, with almost everything within a short 4- to 15-minute walk. The coffee in the lobby was delicious—and honestly a little addictive! We also really enjoyed the continental breakfast and the midday snacks. The only area where I would suggest improvement is the room itself. We stayed in a suite, which offered plenty of space and was definitely a plus. However, each time I walked in, I noticed a musty smell. It did seem to fade after being in the room for a while, but it was noticeable at first. I think updating or refreshing the suites would make the stay even more enjoyable and bring the rooms up to the same high standard as the service, location, and overall guest experience.
