Gateway to Acadia: And a pleasant drive on Broadway, too!

Liked:Breakfast was fine, but I couldn't find the pepper. Didn't ask, because I had a self-created late start, not the motel's fault. But it seems like pepper must be some valuable spice from the Orient, since motels SEEM to hide it away from guests a LOT. The room was fine; the bed was comfortable.

Disliked:I can't believe in this day and age that your front door isn't electronically automated. People arrive (and leave) with luggage (cart or not), and maneuvering through the door manually is awkward. Add to that the age (I'm 78) of some/many guests, the manual door seems almost cruel.

Overall with the staff and the location, Would recommend.

Liked:Location and staff were helpful

Disliked:Booking.com didn’t work well with them. It was a whole process to finally get into my room. Booking didn’t release funds to them and it was a mess. Also, sheets were dirty on one bed. Notified the staff and they came and changed it for us.
