The place was not as nice as it appears in the write up and pictures.

Liked:The location was nice and the price was lower than most places in the area for this weekend.

Disliked:The air conditioner was broken forcing us to open the windows to cool the place off. There were no fans and the place was quite hot. Leaving the windows open allowed in mosquitos and midge flies that did quite a number on us while sleeping. It was missing many normal amenities such as an Iron and Ironing Board, a fan, Air Conditioning, and the flooring had several large gaps and broken areas. There was major construction going on next door so we were woken up to hammer drilling at 7am each morning. The only day there wasn’t hammer drilling the record shop next door set out a speaker and blared music at 8am.

Great apartment, need to do something about mosquitos and humidity.

Liked:Ideal location , clean rooms

Disliked:Rooms are very stuffy so had to open windows, Mosquitos attacked us every night horrendously. No fans or mosquito repellent provided. People were walking on the roof on Sunday morning which the property owners never told us about or apologised for.

Nice

Liked:The location of the place is perfect, a step away from the city center. The second bedroom with the bunk beds is so small and inappropriate for adults. On the other hand, there is a big terrace and kitchen with everything you want. There was a construction on the opposite side of the street and it wasn’t lovely waking up with loud noises. For good price, there is a big parking (Antwerpse Parkings - Parking Meir-Opera) right next to the place.
