Disappointing but some positives

Liked:The beds were comfortable and the pods themselves were clean. Check in was easy and staff were helpful. The lockers were a good size. The location was easy to get to from the train and had good shopping options and restaurants in the surrounds. The vibe in the common area was nice and there was enough space in the fridge and kitchen for our food.

Disliked:The showers were filthy and had black mould all over them, the toilets weren't much better. The shower heads also sprayed water absolutely everywhere so there was no way to keep your belongings dry. Multiple other guests complained about this whilst we were there. The common area did not have nearly enough plug sockets, the bedroom had a few sockets near the door but nowhere to place your device (and it was then open to everyone in your room) and as there were only USB sockets within the pods you couldn't use your laptop and charge it from the pod. The lockers, though enough space were faulty, both our under-bed lockers and the main lockers wouldn't unlock 6 times in total, each time we had to get a staff member to reset it (they mentioned the battery likely needed to be changed) Just incredibly inconvenient having to go back and forth so many times. The kitchen was mostly well equipped, some other guests aren't great at cleaning up after themselves but this is not unexpected when sharing a space, and is hardly the hostel's fault.

Disliked:the toilets, kitchen, & showers could've been cleaner. But with the amount of guests that are staying is somehow understandable
